VinFast launch date in India revealed — Check here!

Vietnamese manufacturer VinFast is all set to launch its first two cars in India, following the opening of its factory in Tamil Nadu, and the inauguration of its first showroom in Gujarat. The carmaker will debut with the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs, both of which will be launched alongside each other. VinFast India launch date

VinFast will announce the VinFast VF6 price in India and VinFast VF7 price in India on September 6, 2025. The VF6 is likely to go against compact electric SUVs like the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra BE 6. The VF7 is likely to go against larger cars like the Mahindra XEV 9e and Tata Harrier.ev.

VinFast VF6 specs

The India-spec VF6 is expected to come powered by a 59.6kWh battery pack, and will be offered in a front-wheel drive configuration. Expected power outputs stand at 180PS and 207PS. Bookings for the SUV are live and can be made against a token amount of Rs 21,000.

VinFast VF7 specs

The VF7 is expected to be offered with a larger 75.3kWh battery pack, and will be made available in two configurations — FWD and AWD. The single-motor setup is expected to produce 207PS of power, and the dual-motor setup is expected to produce 359PS of net power. Bookings for the SUV are live and can be made against a token amount of Rs 21,000.

VinFast India dealership network

VinFast has signed agreements with 13 dealer partners to establish 32 dealerships across 27 cities, forming a 3S (Sales, Service, Spares) ecosystem. The initial set of dealerships will be established in key urban and emerging EV markets, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Cochin, Bhubaneshwar, Trivandrum, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Surat, Calicut, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Shimla, Agra, Jhansi, Gwalior, Vapi, Baroda and Goa.
