Tata Altroz Racer
The Tata Altroz Racer is a performance-oriented version of the carmaker’s premium hatchback. With a slightly sportier exterior and a blacked-out roof, the Racer edition definitely looks bolder. But the changes go beyond just cosmetics. This version gets a more powerful turbo-petrol engine, a sportier suspension setup, and a more throaty exhaust note. All this makes it a hot hatch aimed at enthusiasts who expect slightly higher driving pleasure.
The Tata Altroz Racer is priced between ₹9.5 lakh to ₹11.0 lakh (ex-showroom).
The final on-road pricing varies based on city-specific registration and insurance costs. In Delhi, it costs ₹10.6-12.7 lakh on the road. While in Mumbai, the on-road price ranges from ₹11.0-12.9 lakh. While it costs more than the standard Altroz variants, the Racer undercuts its main rival, the Hyundai i20 N Line by some margin.
