After being discontinued a few months back, the CNG powertrain has been re-launched on the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV. The factory-fitted CNG kit is offered on the same two variants — Delta and Zeta — with a price increase of Rs 23,000-41,000. The SUV is now available with six airbags as standard, brought by the update for the 2025 model year. New Maruti Grand Vitara CNG engine specs

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that has been tuned to produce 88PS of maximum power and 122Nm of peak torque when run on CNG. The gearbox on duty is a 5-speed manual unit.

Claimed mileage for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG stands at 26.60kmpkg, as per ARAI.

Some key features of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Delta include cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen unit, six airbags, TPMS, hill-hold assist, 4 speakers, reclining rear seats, and more. Key Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Zeta features include a 9-inch touchscreen system, Arkamy’s tuned sound system, automatic headlamps, rear door sunshades, ventilated front seats, and more.
