The 2026 MG Hector facelift has been launched in India and is available in five trims: Style, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro. For now, only the MG Hector facelift turbo petrol will be available in the lineup, while the diesel iteration will arrive in 2026.

 

The facelift brings a fair share of updates to the MG Hector 2026 exterior and interior giving it a refreshed look and feel. Under the hood, however, the engine and mechanicals remain unchanged, keeping the same familiar performance.

 

2026 MG Hector facelift exterior — What's new?

The new MG Hector facelift exterior gets noticeable updates especially around the front. The grille has been replaced with the Aura Hex Grill. While the air vent design below has been slightly enlarged and now features a slightly thicker chrome insert border.

 

The 2026 Hector exterior also includes LED projector headlamps, floating light turn indicators, LED blade connected taillights, and chrome inserts on the front and rear skid plates. Chrome finishes extend to the window beltline, outside door handles, and side body cladding. Other highlights include turn indicators on the ORVMs, a shark-fin antenna, roof rails, a rear spoiler, and 18-inch Aura Bolt alloy wheels.

The 2026 MG Hector colour options offer a decent range, including Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, Pearl White, Starry Black, and Aurora Silver.

The 2026 MG Hector interior hasn’t seen any dramatic changes but comes with thoughtful updates. It offers dual-tone interior finishes, including Ice Grey and Urban Tan, while CVT trims also feature Hydra Gloss finish accents. 

 

On the tech side, the Hector facelift features include a 7-inch full digital cluster with a multi-information display, 14-inch HD infotainment system, eight speakers, eight-colour ambient lighting, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, and 4-way power-adjustable co-driver seat, among others.

 

MG Hector facelift safety features

 

Safety remains a priority with six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, reverse parking camera, all four discs with ABS, TPMS, front and rear defoggers, ISOFIX mounts, and more. For advanced driving assistance, the Level 2 ADAS pack in the Hector 2026 includes adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, lane-keeping functions, forward collision prevention, and intelligent headlamp control.

 

The facelift also brings three segment-first features: i-swipe touch gesture controls, walk away auto car lock/approach auto car unlock, and a 360-degree around view hd camera system with wheel view.

The MG Hector 2026 price starts at Rs 11.99 lakh, making it around Rs 2.5 lakh cheaper than the previous base trim. The top trim is priced at Rs 19.49 lakh, roughly Rs 1 lakh lower than before. However, the MG Hector facelift full price list will only be complete once the diesel variants are also revealed giving a full picture of the lineup.
