Upcoming Tata cars in India

On the investor day 2025, Tata Motors showcased its future roadmap, revealing its product plan for years ahead. By the year 2030, Tata Motors plans to launch 30 cars, including 7 all new models. These 7 new models will include the Sierra, two Avinya EVs, two new ICE models and two new EVs. With these new models in plate, the Tata Motors portfolio will increase to 15 nameplates. This announcement from Tata Motors follows the product plan of Hyundai, which recently announced the arrival of 26 models—including 6 EVs—by the year 2030.

23 updates to existing range of vehicles

In addition to the 7 all-new models, Tata Motors will also announce 23 updates to its existing range of cars in the next 5 years. While there is no official confirmation on the list of these models, we expect these to include model year updates and mid-lifecycle facelifts. For example, we expect the Harrier petrol and Safari petrol to be a part of these upcoming models, along with facelifts for the Punch, Nexon, Curvv and also, their EV counterparts.

Recent Tata Motors launches

Tata Motors recently launched two new models — the Altroz facelift and the Harrier EV. While the Altroz aims to reinforce itself in the fierce premium hatchback segment, the Harrier EV aims for bigger avenues with its quad wheel drivetrain. The latter has a bigger mountain to climb, riddled with plummeting market share. Tata Motors’ EV market share has reduced from 85% to 55%, owing to increasing competition from Mahindra and MG Motor India. Tata Motors is yet to reveal the complete price list of the Harrier EV and you can read more about the Harrier EV by clicking on the link below.
