Volvo XC90 facelift

Launch date: March 4, 2025
Price in India: Rs 1.03 crore (ex-showroom, India)
Volvo gave its flagship SUV in India a mid-life update in March this year, featuring a new front grille, T-shaped headlights, new alloy wheels, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, and more such minor changes. It is offered in a single fully-loaded variant in India.
Kia EV6 facelift

Launch date: March 26, 2025
Price in India: Rs 65.96 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Showcased first at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Kia EV6 facelift was launched later in March. With a bigger battery pack than the pre-facelift car and a couple of interior and exterior enhancements, the updated car is priced at Rs 65.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), though there are discounts northwards of Rs 10 lakh being offered.

Tata Altroz facelift

Launch date: May 22, 2025
Price in India: Rs 6.89 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Making it stand shoulder-to-shoulder with competition, Tata updated the Altroz with a restyled exterior, and a new dashboard design, along with some reshuffling in the powertrain options. Kia Carens Clavis

Launch date: May 23, 2025
Price in India: Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
The Kia Carens Clavis, which is essentially a facelifted version of the Carens MPV, was recently launched in the market. The Clavis gets a redesigned exterior, as well as a revamped interior. An electric version of the MPV is soon going to be introduced as well.

Mahindra XUV700 facelift

Expected launch timeline: August 15, 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom)
A camouflaged test mule of a facelifted Mahindra XUV700 was recently seen testing, and Mahindra is likely to launch the car at this year’s Independence Day. Expected changes include new headlights, new alloy wheels, reprofiled bumpers, and a triple-screen setup on the dashboard, akin to the one seen on the Mahindra XEV 9e.
Mahindra Thar 3-door facelift

Expected launch timeline: August 15, 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 11.7 lakh (ex-showroom)
Expected to be launched alongside the XUV700 facelift is the Mahindra Thar facelift for the 3-door version of the SUV. It is likely to borrow design cues from the Thar Roxx, including its front grille, LED headlights, and a bigger touchscreen unit. You can also expect a new design for the alloy wheels.

Renault Kiger facelift

Expected launch timeline: 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 6.3 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Renault Kiger was launched back in 2021, and a facelift of the car is due to be launched. Disguised test mules have also been spotted on multiple occasions, which hint at changes such as the inclusion of fog lamps, reprofiled bumpers, new alloy wheels, and more.
Renault Triber facelift

Expected launch timeline: 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 6.3 lakh (ex-showroom)
The upcoming Renault Triber facelift is also likely to be launched in the next few months, and test mules have been spied testing alongside those of the Kiger. Changes on the exterior are expected to be subtle, though the interior should get more noticeable revisions to make it look more modern and updated.
Tata Punch facelift

Expected launch timeline: 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 6.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
Speaking of spied test mules, one of the Tata Punch facelift was also seen a few days back, hinting at an imminent launch. No changes are expected on the powertrain front, though we might see a few interior and exterior tweaks and a couple of feature additions. More details are scarce at the moment.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift

Expected launch timeline: 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 47 lakh (ex-showroom)
Also seen at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 was a facelifted version of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, and it should have already been launched by now. It might get a bigger battery pack, just like in the case of the Kia EV6.
MG Majestor

Expected launch timeline: 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom)
Another Auto Expo debutant, the MG Majestor, is essentially a facelifted version of the Gloster SUV, though it is expected to be sold alongside the Gloster, positioned higher than the latter. The exact launch timeline of the SUV is unclear, though we expect it to be here by the end of this year.

Volkswagen Taigun facelift

Expected launch timeline: 2025
Expected starting price: Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom)
A facelifted Volkswagen Taigun is likely to be introduced by the end of 2025, and will get more features that are commonly seen in the segment, as confirmed by a top executive a few months ago. It is expected to get a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree cameras, and more.
Skoda Kushaq facelift

Expected starting price: Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom)
A facelifted Kushaq is expected to be launched this festive season, and it is quite important due to the recent drop in sales that can be attributed to cannibalism by the new Skoda Kylaq. While no powertrain changes are expected, the car is likely to be loaded with more features, new alloy wheels, and a slightly-tweaked exterior styling.
