The 7-seater Kia Carens CNG has been launched in India, expanding the engine options for buyers of this MPV, which was previously available only with 1.5L petrol and diesel engines. The Carens CNG features a government-approved kit fitted at the dealer level by Lovato. On the outside, the car looks exactly the same as its petrol and diesel siblings, with no changes to its design or styling. The Kia Carens is currently offered only in the Premium (O) variant. The ex-showroom price for the petrol variant is Rs 10,99,159, while the diesel version costs Rs 12,77,387.
For buyers seeking a more economical fuel option, the Carens CNG is available as a dealer-fitted kit on the petrol Premium (O) variant. Adding the Lovato government-approved CNG kit increases the price by Rs 77,900, bringing the total ex-showroom price to Rs 11,77,000 approximately.

The Kia Carens CNG includes an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.5-inch LCD instrument cluster, electrically adjustable ORVMs with LED turn signals, semi-leatherette upholstery, power windows, six speakers, and five Type-C charging ports. Safety and convenience features include keyless entry with burglar alarm, 15-inch steel wheels with covers, six airbags, reverse parking camera with guidelines, rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS, ISO-Fix child anchors, and TPMS, among others.
