Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M Ltd), one of India's leading automotive companies, announced that its overall auto sales for July 2026 stood at 1,03,860 vehicles, a growth of 26% including exports, according to the company's official press release. The month saw broad-based growth across the company's utility vehicle, commercial vehicle, three-wheeler and export segments.
Mahindra sales July 2026 — Utility vehicles cross 60,000 units domestically
In the utility vehicle segment, Mahindra sold 60,048 vehicles in the domestic market in July 2026, a growth of 20% year-on-year from 49,871 units in July 2025. Including exports, overall UV sales for the month stood at 60,887 units.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd, said that in July, Mahindra achieved SUV sales of 60,048 units, delivering growth of 20%, with total vehicle sales standing at 1,03,860 units, a 26% year-on-year growth reflecting all-round demand traction across the portfolio.

Mahindra car sales in July 2026 — Commercial vehicles and three-wheelers see sharp gains
Domestic commercial vehicle sales for July 2026 stood at 25,204 units, up 23% year-on-year. Within this, light commercial vehicles under 2 tonnes grew 40% to 3,870 units from 2,763 units, while light commercial vehicles in the 2 to 3.5 tonne range rose 21% to 21,334 units from 17,701 units. The three-wheeler segment, including electric three-wheelers, recorded the sharpest growth of any category, rising 53% year-on-year to 14,538 units from 9,475 units in July 2025.

Mahindra exports climb sharply for the month
Total exports for July 2026 stood at 4,070 units, up 47% year-on-year from 2,774 units in July 2025.

Note that Mahindra's total vehicle sales figure of 1,03,860 units for the month includes SUVs, light commercial vehicles under 3.5 tonnes, three-wheelers, and export volumes combined. Utility vehicle figures include sales made by subsidiary company Mahindra Electric Automobile Limited, while commercial vehicle figures include sales made by subsidiary company Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited.
Mahindra's year-to-date performance across segments
From April to July FY27, Mahindra sold 2,34,793 utility vehicles in India, up 16% from 2,01,938 units in the same period of FY26. Commercial vehicle sales in the under-2-tonne segment rose 31% to 13,852 units. Sales in the 2-3.5-tonne category increased 19% to 84,934 units. Three-wheeler sales recorded the highest growth, rising 69% to 50,793 units, compared to 30,034 units last year. Exports also grew 60%, reaching 19,958 units from 12,435 units.
