Weeks ahead of its expected launch, the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift has been leaked in full, with new spy shots showing the SUV completely undisguised for the first time. The latest images provide a clear look at the updated exterior and cabin, unlike earlier sightings that revealed only limited details under camouflage. The Scorpio N was first introduced in mid-2022 and is now set to receive its first major update.
2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift exterior — Minimal changes
According to the leaked images, Mahindra appears to have made only minor changes to the Scorpio N’s exterior. The SUV retains its existing grille, front and rear bumpers, silver skid plate and tall, boxy design. The side profile also remains largely unchanged.
The most noticeable update is a new set of five-spoke, dual-tone alloy wheels, giving the SUV a slightly more rugged look. Small camera housings are also visible on the outside rear-view mirrors, suggesting that the facelift could introduce a blind-spot monitoring system, a feature not currently available on the Scorpio N.

Upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift interior & features — A more substantial update
The cabin receives the most noticeable updates. The dashboard now features a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the smaller unit offered on the current model. The central AC vents have been made slimmer, while a new silver insert has been added to the lower section of the dashboard.
The Scorpio N facelift is also expected to get a panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Both features are already available on the Mahindra Thar Roxx and XUV 3XO. Beyond the larger screens and panoramic sunroof, the Scorpio N facelift could also get powered and ventilated front seats. Existing features such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, automatic LED headlamps, dual-zone climate control and a 12-speaker Sony sound system are expected to continue.
The safety package is likely to remain similar to the current SUV, with 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Assist (HHA), Level 2 ADAS, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. The current Scorpio N has a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, which the facelifted model is expected to retain or improve upon.
Mahindra Scorpio N 2026 powertrain options expected to continue
Mechanically, the Scorpio N facelift is expected to retain its existing engine lineup without significant changes.

The turbo-petrol engine continues to be offered exclusively with rear-wheel drive, while the diesel retains the option of four-wheel drive, a key differentiator for buyers seeking greater off-road capability. Both engines are expected to be available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.

Mahindra Scorpio N facelift launch timeline and pricing
Mahindra has not officially confirmed a launch date for the Scorpio N facelift, though multiple industry reports point toward a debut around 15 August 2026. Based on the added features and updated cabin, the facelifted SUV is expected to be priced from around Rs 14 lakh, ex-showroom, a modest increase over the outgoing model's current starting price of Rs 13.49 lakh.
Where The Scorpio N Sits In The Market
The Mahindra Scorpio N does not have a direct rival in the traditional sense, with the closest competition coming from its own sibling, the Mahindra Thar Roxx. That said, the SUV is often cross-shopped against alternatives such as the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV 7XO, and even the body-on-frame Toyota Innova Crysta.
