Tata Motors has officially revealed the interior of the upcoming 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift ahead of its May 28 launch. The facelifted Tiago EV gets several practical additions including rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera, updated EV-specific displays, and more feature upgrades inside the cabin.

Design-wise, it carries the same cosmetic updates already seen on the ICE-powered Tiago facelift. Mechanically, the battery pack and powertrain are expected to remain unchanged from the current model.

What is new inside the 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift

One of the biggest additions is rear AC vents, something missing in the earlier Tiago EV. For a city-focused family car, especially in Indian summers, this is a practical upgrade that should improve rear-seat comfort noticeably.

The facelift also adds a 360-degree camera for the first time. This makes the 2026 Tata Tiago EV one of the most affordable EVs in India to offer the feature, making parking and tight city driving much easier. Tata has also added a 6-speaker audio system, improving the in-cabin entertainment experience over the previous model.

New Tata Tiago EV interior gets a redesigned dashboard with a cleaner horizontal layout and a dual-tone grey and black finish. Fabric inserts across the dashboard give the interior a lighter and more premium feel compared to the older model.

The centre console now gets a push-button start setup, while the EV-specific digital instrument cluster shows battery status, regeneration information, and charging data in a simpler and more user-friendly way. Tata has also added EV branding on the steering wheel to separate it from the regular petrol Tiago. The touchscreen infotainment system now sits in a floating tablet-style position on the dashboard.

New Tata Tiago EV exterior updates

The 2026 Tata Tiago EV also carries a revised exterior that was revealed earlier this month. It gets new LED headlights with eyebrow-shaped DRLs at the front. One key visual difference from the petrol Tiago is the grille treatment: the EV gets a body-coloured blanked-off front panel instead of the black grille on the ICE version, which keeps the two models visually distinct on the road. The alloy wheels have a new design and the rear has been freshened up as well, maintaining the overall family look of the updated Tiago lineup.

2026 Tata Tiago EV battery & range

Tata Motors has not officially revealed the powertrain details yet, but the 2026 Tata Tiago EV is expected to continue with the existing battery options. The current model offers a 19.2 kWh battery with a claimed range of 223 km and a larger 24 kWh pack with a claimed 293 km range.

There are also reports suggesting Tata could introduce a new 30 kWh battery pack on higher variants. If launched, it could offer a claimed range of around 366 km, giving the Tiago EV a noticeable boost in practicality and making it more competitive in the affordable EV segment.

Charging options are expected to remain similar, including AC home charging and DC fast charging support. Faster DC charging capability could also be introduced with the facelift, although Tata has not confirmed this yet.

The 2026 Tata Tiago EV will be officially priced and launched on May 28, 2026, alongside the updated petrol Tiago. With the added features and a potential battery upgrade, a revised pricing structure over the current range is likely. The current Tiago EV starts at around Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the updated model is expected to be priced slightly higher, though Tata will likely keep it within reach of entry-level EV buyers.
