Tata Motors has officially pulled back the curtain on the 2026 Tiago facelift, and the update is far more comprehensive than most people expected from a mid-cycle refresh. With just days to go before its official launch on May 28, 2026, Tata has revealed both the exterior and the interior of the new Tiago in a series of official teasers and reveals, giving us a complete picture of what to expect.

The front end of the 2026 Tata Tiago draws clear inspiration from the Altroz facelift, giving the entry-level hatchback a more grown-up and cohesive look within the Tata family. The headlamps are new, sleeker, and fully LED with eyebrow-shaped daytime running lamps (DRLs) built in. The bumper has also been redesigned, featuring a blacked-out treatment along with pixel-shaped fog lamps on the lower half.

On the sides, the alloy wheels carry a new design with a dual-tone finish, while the profile also gets a blacked-out roof, shark fin antenna, and colour-matched ORVMs that give it a sportier stance. At the rear, the redesign is equally thorough.

The taillamps have a fresh, more contemporary look with a mix of horizontal and vertical elements that suggest a connected appearance, though they are not physically joined. Overall, the 2026 Tiago looks noticeably sharper than the outgoing model and the Altroz influence helps it feel like a more premium product even before you step inside.

New Tata Tiago facelift interior and features

The interior of the 2026 Tata Tiago has received one of the most comprehensive cabin makeovers seen in a facelift in this segment. The biggest change is the all-new dashboard layout. Gone is the old swooping design with an integrated screen and cluster. In its place is a clean, layered horizontal dashboard with fabric inserts running across the full width of the cabin, giving the interior a noticeably more airy and premium feel.

Two free-floating digital screens now take centre stage. The infotainment touchscreen sits prominently on the dashboard, while a new free-standing digital instrument cluster is positioned in front of the driver. The cluster is a significant upgrade over the archaic LCD display on the outgoing model, and it gives the Tiago a look that feels well above its price bracket.

The centre console has been completely reimagined as well. The AMT variant now gets a rotary drive selector in place of the old gear lever, a feature more commonly seen on Tata's larger EVs. Paddle shifters are also visible in the official teasers, confirming that AMT support continues. Dual wireless charging trays have been integrated into the floating centre console, another first for the Tiago. Physical controls for the HVAC system are retained, which keeps usability straightforward while driving.

A Sierra-style armrest has also been added, giving the cabin a more premium, segment-above feel. The 360-degree camera system, confirmed by camera units visible on the ORVMs and front bumper, is a major new addition and the first time this feature appears on the Tiago.

No mechanical changes are expected under the hood. The 2026 Tata Tiago will carry forward the existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, available with a manual gearbox and an AMT option. A CNG variant is also expected to continue in the lineup, keeping the Tiago accessible for buyers looking for lower running costs.

Tata Tiago Facelift expected price and launch date

2026 Tata Tiago facelift prices will be officially announced on May 28, 2026. Based on the current pricing structure, the new Tiago is expected to be priced between Rs 4.59 lakh and Rs 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom), though final figures will only be confirmed at launch.
