Nissan Magnite CNG engine details

The 1.0-litre petrol engine of the Magnite delivers 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque in the standard mode. The Magnite CNG is likely to see a considerable dip in power and torque outputs over that of the standard petrol iteration, however, the carmaker is yet to share the Magnite CNG specifications. Needless to say, it should offer considerably better fuel economy than the Magnite petrol. It would have been interesting to see the option of the Magnite CNG with the turbo petrol engine but that’s not on offer yet. The only sub-compact SUV with a turbo-CNG powertrain present in the market is the Tata Nexon CNG.
