Nissan India has launched the Tekton SUV at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices going up to Rs 18.59 lakh for the top-spec variant. It is the first model under Nissan India's planned four-car product strategy for the country.
The Tekton takes its design inspiration from the larger Nissan Patrol, giving it a bold SUV look. Underneath, however, it is based on the same platform as the Renault Duster and shares its body structure.
New Nissan Tekton exterior& colour options

The Tekton's front-end design takes inspiration from the Nissan Patrol. It features slim LED headlamps connected by a red accent strip, a large Nissan logo at the centre, a wide hexagonal grille, and vertically stacked LED DRLs on either side of the bumper. At the rear, the SUV gets connected LED tail lamps with Tekton lettering placed between them. A roof-mounted spoiler, a sharply raked rear windscreen, and a chunky rear bumper complete the design. The SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Nissan offers the Tekton in six single-tone colours: Moonbrow Grey, Flare Garnet Red, Indigo Blue, Blade Silver, Onyx Black, and Pearl White. It is also available in five dual-tone colour options, with every shade except Onyx Black paired with a contrasting black roof.
2026 Nissan Tekton dimensions and boot space
Dimension-wise, it is 4,300 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. It shares the same RGMP platform and overall dimensions as the Renault Duster. Boot capacity is rated at 518 litres, which can be expanded to 1,789 litres by folding the rear seats.
Nissan Tekton interior and features

Inside, the Nissan Tekton gets a beige and black dual-tone cabin. The dashboard is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Google built-in and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. It also features a high centre console with a sliding storage compartment, automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, and a wireless phone charger. Other features include ventilated and powered front seats with memory function, a panoramic sunroof, rear AC vents, a powered tailgate, and multiple connected car features, among others.
New Nissan Tekton safety features
One of the Tekton's biggest highlights is its five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. The SUV inherits this rating through its shared RGMP platform and body structure with the Renault Duster, rather than being crash-tested separately by Bharat NCAP.
On the safety front, the Tekton comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, Traction Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ISOFIX child seat mounts, all-wheel disc brakes, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
2026 Nissan Tekton engine options

The new Nissan Tekton is available with two turbo-petrol engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 100 PS and 166 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The second is a more powerful 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed wet dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
