Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo gets new dual-tone paint options — Limited units on sale

Skoda Auto India has introduced two new dual-tone colour options for the Slavia Monte Carlo: Shimla Green and Steel Grey. Available in a limited run of just 200 units, these new shades add an extra layer of exclusivity to the sportiest version of the Slavia. Apart from the new paint options, there are no changes to the equipment list or mechanical package.
Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo new dual-tone colour options
The Slavia Monte Carlo is the sportiest version of the sedan and is inspired by Skoda's motorsport heritage. It comes with blacked-out exterior elements, black alloy wheels, Monte Carlo badging, and a black-and-red interior. The new Shimla Green and Steel Grey dual-tone colours give buyers two more exclusive paint option. These colours are available only with the automatic variants, including the 1.0 TSI automatic and the 1.5 TSI DSG.
Commenting on the update, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Skoda Auto India, said the Slavia Monte Carlo has been well received for its styling, premium appeal, driving dynamics and connection to the brand's motorsport legacy, adding that the new colour options are meant to further enhance the variant's individuality while giving customers more choice.
Engine options remain unchanged
There are no mechanical changes to the Slavia Monte Carlo. It continues to be offered with two turbo-petrol engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre TSI engine that produces 115 PS and 178 Nm, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Buyers looking for more performance can opt for the 1.5-litre TSI engine, which develops 150 PS and 250 Nm and comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
The 1.5-litre engine also features Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), which shuts down two cylinders during light driving to improve fuel efficiency. It also gets Plasma-Coated Cylinder Liners, a technology designed to reduce engine friction and improve efficiency and durability.

The Slavia Monte Carlo's pricing remains unchanged despite the introduction of the new colour options. The 1.0 TSI AT continues to be priced at Rs 16.69 lakh (ex-showroom), while the 1.5 TSI DSG is available at Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Since the new Shimla Green and Steel Grey shades are offered exclusively with the automatic variants, buyers opting for a manual Monte Carlo will not have access to these two colours.
