The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella follows a noticeably different design approach compared to Toyota’s regular SUVs. Instead of a rugged and upright look, the Ebella adopts a sleeker and more futuristic styling language.

Toyota is also offering the electric SUV with a wider range of colour options, including both monotone and dual-tone finishes. The Ebella is available in three trims — E1, E2, and E3. For now, Toyota has announced the price only for the top-spec E3 variant, which is priced at Rs 23.60 lakh, while prices for the E1 and E2 variants are still awaited.

Toyota offers the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella in five monotone shades: Sportin’ Red, Café White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, and Blush Black. The SUV is also available in four dual-tone options: Sportin’ Red Dual-Tone, Café White Dual-Tone, Enticing Silver Dual-Tone, and Land Breeze Green Dual-Tone. These dual shades add a sportier character with a contrasting black roof and darkened pillars. Among them, Land Breeze Green Dual-Tone stands out as the most distinctive option in the lineup.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella gets a modern SUV design with clear EV-inspired styling elements. At the front, it features slim connected LED DRLs and vertically stacked headlamp units placed lower on the bumper. The SUV also gets a closed-off grille, aerodynamic alloy wheels, flush-style detailing, and sharp body creases that add to its futuristic look. 

It carries a sleek roofline and wide stance without major visual changes. At the rear, the Ebella features connected LED tail lamps and a sculpted tailgate design that matches the SUV’s clean styling approach.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV interior is clearly inspired by the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara. The new Toyota Ebella EV features a dual-screen setup, consisting of a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster. 

Additional features include multi-zone climate control, wireless charger, two-spoke steering wheel, JBL music system, reclining and sliding rear seats, 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, ride-by-wire technology, ambient lighting, fixed glass roof, PM2.5 cabin air filter, and more. 

The 2026 Urban Cruiser EV safety features are also extensive, with 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, parking sensors, EPB with auto hold, 360-degree camera, TPMS, VSM, and level 2 ADAS suite, among others

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella EV battery and performance

Toyota has started the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella lineup with only the fully loaded E3 variant for now, while prices for the lower E1 and E2 trims are still awaited. The E3 uses a 61 kWh lithium iron-phosphate battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 172bhp and 193Nm. Toyota claims a range of 543 km under test conditions. The SUV also gets multiple drive modes, regenerative braking, and connected EV functions.
