Haryana, an Indian state in the northern part of the country, comprises 154 cities and towns, and has 98 RTOs to assist its residents with vehicle and driving licence related service, among others. With an estimated population of over 30 lakh people, the RTOs in Haryana enforce the rules and regulations of the Indian Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, and provide assistance regarding vehicle owner details and vehicle registration details to the citizens.
Registering your vehicle in Haryana involves a few simple steps, which are listed below:
Step 1: You must visit the RTO of your jurisdiction with the vehicle you want to get registered
Step 2: You need to ensure all the necessary forms are filled out correctly and all corresponding documents are present
Step 3: At the RTO, you must submit your application to an agent who will then proceed to verify your details
Step 4: Once your documents are verified, you must pay the fee for the registration. Ensure to keep the receipt you get safe
Step 5: Then, a representative from the RTO will inspect your vehicle and note down key details like make, model, fuel type, engine capacity, etc to add to the database
Step 6: Post this, the RTO will process your application, and after all details have been verified, a registration certificate will be issued and sent to your registered address
