Compact sedans are in high demand in India and majority of car manufacturers have launched their own variants in the segment. Although Toyota already has the Etios in this market, if you’re looking to sell cars, this is probably the one that should go given the fact that it has not been able to compete well with others. The Vios, on the other hand, looks a lot more promising with its upgraded engine, premium features, and relatively affordable price tag. When launched, the Toyota Vios will come with a diesel 1.4-liter engine as well as a 1.3-liter petrol engine – both offering a mileage of about 17-20 kmpl. The exterior features are sharp and modern which might appeal to customers a lot more than the Etios while the interiors combine elegant and sporty looks perfectly.

The biggest changes can be found on the inside as the Corolla Altis 2020 features the new TNGA platform which is inspired by a Sensuous Minimalism concept where less is considered more.
