The Tata Safari EV is an upcoming electric SUV that will be based on the recently unveiled Harrier EV. Built on Tata’s Gen 2 EV platform, the Safari EV will feature a high-capacity battery pack, offering an estimated 500 km range per charge. Like the Harrier, it will come with all-wheel-drive (AWD). This will help it tready easily even on the tougher terrains.
The Safari EV launch should happen by the end of this year, and it’s expected to cost slightly more than the electric Harrier. In terms of aesthetics, the SUV will like maintain its signature bold stance but will feature modern,, EV-specific design updates. These will include a closed-off grille, aerodynamic alloys, and futuristic LED lighting. Inside, it is expected to have a premium cabin with a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and connected car technology.
