Tata Sierra EV

The Sierra EV offers a permanent magnet synchronous motor setup for the rear wheels, while the all-wheel-drive version gets a high-performance induction motor to the front axle.

63-75 kWh, Single-Motor RWD

The 63 kWh battery is combined with a rear-mounted motor. Interestingly, the 75 kWh RWD version gets a slightly lower output of 206 bhp but maintains the 315 Nm torque. It’s clearly calibrated this way to maximise the Tata Sierra EV range.

Driving range remains one of the biggest considerations for EV buyers, and the Tata Sierra EV has been developed with real-world usability in mind rather than relying solely on laboratory figures.
