2025 Renault Kwid EV — What’s new?
The Renault Kwid EV—known as the Dacia Spring EV in the global markets—is the brand's smallest electric offering in its lineup. On the design front, the Spring EV carries over the silhouette of the first-gen model and amps up with modern elements like updated LED DRLs with a new grille, split LED headlights and Y-shaped LED tail lights. It also continues with its small SUV design, featuring skid plates at the front and rear and body cladding at the side.
2025 Renault Kwid EV interior and features
On the inside, the Renault Kwid EV features an updated dashboard design, featuring a modern layout. The centre of the dashboard is taken by a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is also a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster with different visual modes. Other features include a 3-spoke steering wheel, cruise control, reverse parking camera and power windows.

Renault Kwid EV powertrain details
On the powertrain front, the Dacia Spring EV comes with a 26.8kWh battery pack that channels power to a 65PS front mounted electric motor. Dacia claimed a driving range of 225km on a single charge. We expect Renault to offer a bigger battery pack with the Kwid EV, given the wider use case of drivers in this segment. The Spring EV supports a 7kW AC charger as well as 30kW DC fast charger, with the latter offering 20-80% charge in 45 minutes.
