The Mahindra Scorpio N facelift has been spotted testing without any camouflage. And the latest one offers the clearest look yet at the changes coming to Mahindra's popular body-on-frame SUV. The spy shots, which have surfaced just weeks before the model's expected launch, focus primarily on the redesigned cabin. However, a partial view of the exterior confirms some styling revisions as well. This highlights the first significant update to the Scorpio N since it was introduced in mid-2022.

What's new inside the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift

The most noticeable update in the Mahindra Scorpio N leaked interior images is a new, larger 10.25-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system. This design was lifted directly from the Mahindra Thar Roxx. Alongside it sits a fully digital driver's display, also measuring 10.25 inches, replacing the semi-digital cluster used on the outgoing car. The digital instrument cluster is expected to carry a new user interface with revised readouts.

The centre air-conditioning vents have also been repositioned, now sitting just below the new infotainment screen rather than flanking it. The switchgear on the centre console also appears to have been redesigned, taking on a toggle-style form similar to what is used in the Thar Roxx. However, it retains its familiar brown-and-black dual-tone cabin theme.

Upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift features expectations

Beyond the visible changes, the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to get a panoramic sunroof as a new addition. Features already offered on the current model, such as the wireless phone charger, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 12-speaker sony sound system, powered driver's seat and ventilated front seats, are all likely to continue. A 360-degree camera system and updated connected car functionality are also expected additions, according to industry reports tracking the SUV's development. Higher-spec variants may also gain access to a Level 2 ADAS suite for the first time.

Dimensionally, the Scorpio N facelift is expected to retain its current footprint, measuring 4,662mm in length, 1,917mm in width and 1,857mm in height, riding on a 2,750mm wheelbase.

Upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N exterior changes

While the spy shots only reveal a partial side profile of the Scorpio N facelift, they are enough to confirm some visual updates. The alloy wheels have been redesigned with multi-spoke pattern, replacing the units on the current SUV. The taillights, however, appear to be carried over largely unchanged, continuing with the same LED light signature as the outgoing model.

Other Scorpio N facelift exterior elements visible in the spy shots, including the chrome beading along the window line that tapers into a scorpion-tail-like tip, silver roof rails, chrome strips on the door handles, and the black cladding around the wheel arches and lower body, all appear identical to the current Scorpio N. Test mules spotted earlier in the development process have also hinted at a revised front fascia, featuring a grille with horizontal slats, dual-pod headlights, and bumper with fog lamps carrying a scorpion-tail design cue. Nonetheless, a clear and undisguised view of the front end is yet to surface.

Mahindra Scorpio N facelift engine and transmission options expected to continue

Mechanically, the Scorpio N facelift is expected to carry over its existing powertrain lineup without any major changes. The petrol option remains a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo engine, producing 203hp regardless of transmission choice, though torque output varies slightly: 370Nm with the 6-speed manual and 380Nm with the 6-speed torque-converter automatic.

On the diesel side, the 2.2-litre direct-injection engine is expected to continue in two states of tune. The lower state produces 132hp and 300Nm, while the higher state of tune, offered on upper variants, produces 175hp, with 370Nm on the manual gearbox and 400Nm on the automatic. Mahindra is also expected to retain the 4x4 option, which comes with a low-range transfer case, on both transmission choices for the diesel engine.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift launch timeline and pricing

Industry reports suggest the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift will officially launch on 14 August 2026. With the addition of new features and cabin upgrades, Mahindra is expected to nudge prices up slightly from the current range of Rs 13.49 lakh to Rs 24.95 lakh, ex-showroom. Once launched, the updated SUV will continue to compete in a crowded three-row and body-on-frame SUV space, going up against rivals such as the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari and MG Hector.
