Maruti Suzuki sales in May 2026 rise on the back of SUV & utility vehicle performance
The utility vehicle segment was one of the most notable contributors to the record performance. Within this, passenger vehicles accounted for 2,26,100 units compared to 1,93,466 units in May 2025, and Light Commercial Vehicles added another 3,941 units. The utility vehicle production segment alone produced 98,694 units, up from 78,873 units last year.
