The Nissan Gravite nameplate has been officially revealed to the world. This Upcoming Nissan MPV will sit on the familiar CMF-A+ platform, the same one used by the Renault Triber. With its upcoming launch, it becomes the brand’s third model in the lineup, joining the Nissan Magnite and the X-Trail. In terms of positioning, it will slot just below the Magnite. That places it squarely in the affordable MPV space.
The upcoming Nissan Gravite MPV will directly compete with the Renault Triber, its closest and most obvious rival. Given the shared platform, the real difference will come down to design, features, and how Nissan chooses to price it.

The brand has revealed the Nissan Gravite design, giving us a clear look at its styling. The Gravite name sits prominently on the hood, just above horizontal LED DRLs. The signature C-shaped front grille features chrome slats, while the lower bumper has a chunky appearance with a chrome border and a silver faux underbelly plate. At the rear, the MPV sports a roof spoiler and LED taillights that are reminiscent of the Nissan Magnite. It also features integrated LED DRLs in the taillights and a faux silver skid plate, completing the design.

2026 Nissan Gravite engine specs

The Nissan Gravite will come equipped with a 1.0L petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. Since it sits on the same platform as the Renault Triber, it is expected to churn out 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque.
Upcoming Nissan Gravite launch confirms — Showroom arrival

The Nissan Gravite India launch timeline is confirmed for January 2026. Following this, in February, the brand will host the all new Nissan Tekton brand resurgence event highlighting its broader strategy for the year.
The Nissan Gravite price is expected to be revealed in March 2026, around the same time the new MPV is set to arrive in showrooms. This gives potential buyers a clear idea of when they can see the vehicle in person and understand its pricing setting the stage for a competitive entry into the compact MPV segment.
