Upcoming cars in India in June 2025 — Is the Harrier EV finally here?

There aren’t many new car launches scheduled for the month of June 2025. However, the ones that are, are quite special. For instance, there’s the new Tata Harrier EV that’s finally going to be here after months of anticipation. Then, there’s a special edition of the Mercedes G-Wagon, and probably the Cyberster, too! Here’s a list of the upcoming cars in India in June 2025.

Tata Harrier EV

Expected starting price: Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom)

Launch date: June 3, 2025

Tata Motors has the electric Harrier ready for a launch in India, and the same will be taking place on June 3, 2025. While detailed specifications of the SUV are yet to be revealed, we know that the more powerful AWD version will come with peak torque of 500Nm. Key Tata Harrier EV rivals will include the two Mahindra electric SUVs, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara, whenever it arrives in the country.

Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition

Expected starting price: Rs 4 crore (ex-showroom)

Launch date: June 12, 2025

Mercedes-Benz India just announced a limited-edition India Inspired model based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63, the prices for which will be announced on June 12, 2025. While no changes are expected on the mechanical front, expect the Collector’s Edition to come with a host of cosmetic touches and lots of badges.

MG Cyberster

Expected starting price: Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom)

Launch date: June 2025

While the carmaker is yet to confirm the actual date of launch, the MG Cyberster launch in India might take place in June itself. It will be most affordable convertible in India, and will come powered by a set of electric motors. The car had recently been showcased at the 2025 Delhi Motor Show.
