In front, the S204 will feature the regular grille seen on most Mahindra SUVs but will come with a sleeker air dam. In the rear, the S204 also seems to have received some upgrades from the XUV300 and now features the licence plate on the tailgate. Under the hood, the S204 is expected to come with the same BSVI-compliant 1.5L diesel engine found in the Marazzo and XUV300. With MG already making a name in the Indian market with the powerful Hector and Hector Plus SUVs, there is surely a promising future for the brand in the country. MG and Baojun are brands that fall under the SAIC umbrella which is why the Hector can be found under the name Baojun 530 in many countries outside India. Given the fact that they share so much, the Baojun 510 is designed almost identically to the Hector, however, it is a little smaller in size. Powering the Baojun 510 will be a 1.5L In-Line S-TEC III petrol engine that will generate 115Ps of power and 146Nm of torque. The SUV will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox as an option. Even though the Baojun 510 was first announced back in 2016, it is only just about to be released and launched in India. In terms of features, the Baojun 510 carries the same “Future Eye” LED DRLs found on the Hector which gives the car an aggressive look. There is also a twin-light arrangement of the headlamps which looks exactly like what is found on the Hector. Inside, the Baojun 510 features a dual-tone, black, and light-brown colour scheme which actually gives it a rich look. Safety is MG’s primary concern which is why the Baojun 510 comes with airbags in the front and side, a dynamic stability control system, ABS with EBD, and parking cameras in the rear. If technology is what you’re after, MG supplies a lot, and the Baojun 510 features it with style. There is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, push-button ignition, auto cruise, keyless entry, and a semi-open panoramic sunroof.

Although there is a lot of mystery around the Jeep Sub-4m SUV right now, we are continually getting tiny hints into what the vehicle could offer us – if and when it is released in India. As of now, we expect the compact SUV to be powered by a 1.0L Turbo-petrol engine that could generate 120Ps of power. This is the engine used in European countries and that is what is expected to make its way to India as well. Additionally, there could also be a 1.2L Turbo-petrol option with a plug-in Hybrid feature included. In terms of features, we can expect some of the standard ones found on Jeep vehicles including LED headlamps, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android and Apple connectivity, a sunroof, automatic climate control, and ventilated seats.

The majority of upgrades are expected to be on the inside with comfortable seats, multifunctional steering options, a bigger driver information display, and an overall modern finish to it than before.
