Hyundai Motor India has launched the new Hyundai Exter Knight, a black-themed version of the compact SUV. Prices start at Rs 8.13 lakh, ex-showroom. The new edition gets darker exterior styling, a black-themed cabin and exclusive design elements. It also builds on the success of Hyundai's Knight range, which has crossed 1 lakh cumulative sales in India since its launch in 2022.

The new Hyundai Exter Knight gets several black and dark grey elements. It is available in a Matte Black exterior colour and features an exclusive Knight emblem, Matte Black Hyundai logos at the front and rear, along with Dark Grey bumper and side sill garnishes. The SUV also gets R15 sporty black alloy wheels, while select variants come with R15 Dark Grey styled steel wheels. The red front brake callipers add a small contrast to the dark theme.
The Exter Knight is available in five colours: Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey and Golden Bronze.
All-new Hyundai Exter Knight cabin
The cabin gets an all-black theme with brass accents. It also features exclusive black semi-fabric seat upholstery, while select variants get amber footwell ambient lighting and a black D-cut steering wheel. These changes give the Exter Knight a darker cabin theme without changing the basic layout or practicality of the standard Exter.
Hyundai Exter Knight powertrain options
The Exter Knight is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine. It is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and Smart Auto AMT. There is also a Bi-fuel version that combines the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine with CNG and a 5-speed manual transmission. This gives buyers the option of choosing between a regular petrol setup and a CNG-powered version.
2026 Hyundai Exter Knight variants, pricing and colours
The Exter Knight is available in four variants. The HX 6 Knight petrol-manual is priced at Rs 8,13,500, while the HX 6 Knight with AMT costs Rs 8,73,500. The HX 6 Knight Bi-fuel CNG is priced at Rs 9,09,500, while the top-spec HX 10 Knight AMT costs Rs 9,60,500.
