Mahindra XEV 9S prices increased by up to Rs 70,000 in July 2026 — Variant-wise breakdown

After reducing prices for the XEV 9e, Mahindra has now increased prices for the XEV 9S in July 2026. The three-row electric SUV sees price hikes across its lineup, with the entry-level Pack One Above variants receiving the biggest increase of Rs 70,000 on both the 59kWh and 79kWh versions. Meanwhile, the Pack Two Above 79 gets the smallest hike of Rs 49,000.

The Mahindra XEV 9S Pack One Above 59 receives the biggest price hike in the 59kWh range. It is now Rs 70,000 more expensive, with its ex-showroom price increasing from Rs 19.95 lakh to Rs 20.65 lakh.

Moving to the 70kWh battery lineup, the Mahindra XEV 9S Pack Two Above 70 has become Rs 60,000 costlier. Following the July 2026 revision, its price has gone up from Rs 24.45 lakh to Rs 25.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 79kWh Mahindra XEV 9S lineup sees mixed price revisions. The Pack One Above 79 gets the largest increase of Rs 70,000, taking its price from Rs 21.95 lakh to Rs 22.65 lakh. The Pack Two Above 79 receives the smallest hike of Rs 49,999, with its price now at Rs 25.95 lakh. Meanwhile, both the Pack Three 79 and Pack Three Above 79 are Rs 50,000 more expensive, now priced at Rs 27.85 lakh and Rs 29.95 lakh, respectively (all prices ex-showroom).

The Mahindra XEV 9S comes with three battery options. The smallest is 59kWh and delivers 231PS, the mid-size pack is 70kWh with 245PS, and the largest is 79 kWh producing 286PS. All versions offer a peak torque of 380Nm and come with a rear wheel drive setup.

 

In terms of range, the 59kWh battery is claimed to cover 521km, the 70kWh version reaches around 600 km, and the 79 kWh pack goes up to 679km.

The new Mahindra XEV 9S charges at different speeds depending on the charger you use. With the 11.2 kW AC charger, it goes from 0 to 100% in about 8 hours. If you use the 7.2 kW AC charger, a full charge takes closer to 11.5 hours. On a DC fast charger you can get from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes.
