Depending on the trim and powertrain combination selected, on-road prices for the SUV range from roughly Rs 11.64 lakh in Ahmedabad to over Rs 13 lakh in cities such as Bangalore and Chennai, reflecting differences in state-level road tax and registration charges.

It is available in six exterior colours: Pearl White, Flare Garnet Red, Indigo Blue, Blade Silver, Moonbow Gray and Onyx Black. With the exception of Onyx Black, all colours are also available in a dual-tone finish combined with a black roof.

Nissan Tekton engine and transmission options

The Nissan Tekton is available with two turbo-petrol engine options. The entry-level engine is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder Turbo T160 unit, producing 100PS at 5,000rpm and 166Nm of torque between 2,000-3,750rpm, paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission. Maruti claims a 0-100 km/h time of 12.46 seconds and a fuel efficiency of 19.4 km/l for this variant.

Stepping up, the 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder Turbo T280 GDi engine produces a higher 163PS at 5,250rpm, along with 280Nm of torque between 2,000-3,500rpm, a figure Nissan claims is best-in-segment. This engine is available with either a 6-speed manual transmission, which completes the 0-100 km/h sprint in a claimed 9.51 seconds with 17.8 km/l efficiency, or a 6-speed wet-clutch DCT with a fly-by-wire E-shifter, which takes a claimed 9.89 seconds for the same sprint while returning 18.5 km/l.

At the entry-level Visia trim, the Tekton comes with Matrix Vision LED headlamps, signature C-shaped LED daytime running lights and tail lamps, a 17.78cm (7-inch) Advanced Drive-Assist display, and a 4-speaker Arkamys sound system, along with driver and passenger front, side and curtain airbags as standard.

This top trim also brings Google built-in connectivity, offering more than 55 features via the MyNISSAN app alongside native Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play integration, accessible through the 25.65cm (10.1-inch) Tek-Link HD infotainment system.
