Outline

Renault India has launched the Duster Strong Hybrid at a starting price of Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the first Renault model in India to get the company's E-Tech strong hybrid technology. The SUV is available in three variants: Evolution, Techno and Emotion. Bookings are now open with a booking amount of Rs 21,000.

The strong hybrid system allows the Duster to run on electric power alone for short distances. It does not need to be plugged in, as the battery charges while driving and braking. It will compete with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Maruti Suzuki Victoris.
