Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG launched at Rs 9.99 lakh with 24.7 km/kg mileage

Mahindra has launched the Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG, sold as the XUV 3XO ZNG, at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in four variants: MX Edge, REVX Edge (O), AX5 and REVX A.
Prices go up to Rs 12.27 lakh for the top variant. All four use a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with a CNG kit, producing 111PS and 200 Nm in both fuel modes. Mahindra claims a certified mileage of 24.7 km/kg.
Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG price and variants
The Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh for the base MX Edge variant to Rs 12.27 lakh for the top-spec REVX A. The REVX Edge (O) costs Rs 10.79 lakh, while the AX5 is priced at Rs 11.19 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, with a difference of Rs 2.28 lakh between the base and top variants.

Mahindra XUV 3XO ZNG design and boot space
The XUV 3XO CNG looks almost identical to the petrol and diesel versions, with the main differences being the CNG badging and the cylinder setup under the boot floor. It gets a body-coloured or gunmetal grey grille, a dual-tone roof and R16 painted black alloy wheels. The features and styling details vary across the four variants.
The XUV 3XO ZNG gets two CNG cylinders positioned under the luggage area. This arrangement leaves a flat loading floor and provides 270 litres of usable boot space. The spare wheel is mounted under the body.
Mahindra XUV 3XO ZNG engine, power and performance
The XUV 3XO ZNG uses a 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi turbo engine, tuned to deliver the same power and torque in both petrol and CNG modes. It produces 82 kW (about 110 PS) and 200 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm. In CNG mode, the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.9 seconds and from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.8 seconds.
Mahindra claims it offers the highest torque among CNG passenger vehicles in India. The SUV also gets a 10-bar CNG injection system, which the company says is a first in its segment.
Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG mileage
Mahindra claims a certified mileage of 24.7 km/kg for the XUV 3XO CNG. Actual mileage will depend on traffic conditions, vehicle load and driving style. The SUV can run on either CNG or petrol and automatically switches to petrol when the CNG level runs low. Its instrument cluster displays average and instant fuel economy. An NGV fast-filling valve is also fitted to reduce refuelling time.

Mahindra XUV 3XO CNG bookings, test drives and deliveries
Test drives for the XUV 3XO ZNG begin on October 15, 2026. Bookings open on October 20, 2026, through dealerships and the official website, auto.mahindra.com. Deliveries are also scheduled to begin on October 20, 2026. Mahindra says the XUV 3XO has crossed 2.5 lakh cumulative sales in under 2.5 years. The new ZNG version adds a CNG option to the existing range.
