India’s automobile market is expanding at a rapid pace. Gone are the days when we only relied on two or three automobile companies for our transportation needs. Now, it gets a little difficult to choose which vehicle suits you best. Here are some of the MPVs today: 

Toyota – Innova (Crysta)

Toyota Innova has become a timeless name and model over the years. By default, any SUV/MPV buyer will always consider Innova as the first choice for their automobile needs. Every year, Toyota rolls out new and fresh designs for their Innova – stylish, diamond-cut treated alloy wheels, a larger infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-Connectivity, and new Camel wrap for the leather seating of the vehicle. The new 2020 Toyota Innova comes with a 2.4L diesel and a 2.7L petrol engine  (BS-6). They dish out 148BHP and 164BHP, respectively. Overall, it’s a great car for a family or long drives.

Mahindra Mazarro

A new car contending in the MPV platform, the Mahindra Mazarro comes with a 1497cc engine, a fairly mid-range capacity. The Mazarro comes with 3 models – the M2, M4 Plus and M6 Plus, each having additional features based on the model, the high-end variant being slightly expensive. Inspired by a shark, the front-end and tail-end will attract your attention.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 

Coming straight from the NEXA, the XL6 is now a new addition to the luxury range of Maruti Suzuki. The BS-6 compliant ‘K15’ Petrol engine has a smart hybrid technology and is available in a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic. Like all other NEXA entries, this MPV comes with a SmartPlay studio, automatic headlamps, and much more. This premium model is primarily based on the popular Ertiga variant also emerging from the NEXA range.

Renault Triber

After huge success with the Kwid, Renault now launched the all-new Triber for the MPV market. Sharing similar design aspects and style from its predecessors, the engine of this model is still the same 1 Litre – engine, although, It comes in four primary variants – RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ. Like all MPVs, this model comes with its infotainment system – what makes this vehicle unique is the 625 Litre space which can be accessed by folding a couple of seats away, making the Triber a great addition for long drives and camping.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

This MPV comes with a brand new K15 1.5L engine, fully BS-VI compliant. The dimensions of the new model are also slightly larger than the older one.
