To be positioned alongside the Tata Tiago EV in India, the new Punch EV is expected to offer a more powerful version of the Ziptron motor which we get with the Tiago/Tigor EV. Having said this, the new Punch EV is likely to get LED headlights, a four-wheel disc brake setup, a new 10.25-inch touchscreen system, and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo. Reports also suggest that the new Maruti Suzuki eVX will offer a real-life range of close to 350 km on a single charge.

3. Citroen eC3 Aircross

While the eC3 is offered with a 29.3kWh battery pack and a 57 hp electric motor, the eC3 Airbross is likely to get a larger battery pack while the motor might also boast better power figures for a stronger performance. 4. Tata Curvv EV

The Curvv concept was introduced by Tata in early 2022 and it is likely to make an appearance in its production-ready version soon. To be positioned above the Nexon in Tata’s electric portfolio, the upcoming Tata Curvv EV will boast a number of styling updates including a bold front fascia and a sloping roofline. Inside, the new Curvv EV will boast a minimalistic layout with a clean dashboard being the centre stage for a new 10.2.5-inch floating infotainment screen and a full-digital instrument console. It will also boast features like touch-operated climate control, 360-degree camera, sunroof, wireless charging, and more. With a claimed range of over 400 km on a single charge, the new Curvv EV will be one of the most practical electric cars in India and will later be launched with ICE powertrain options as well. The technical details including the specifications are yet to be known.

5. Hyundai Creta EV

While Hyundai is all set to launch the new Creta facelift early next year, multiple reports suggest that an all-electric version of the mid-size SUV will launch in India by late 2024. The Creta EV will get a number of unique design elements to distinguish it from the standard ICE models while the features list and interiors are likely to remain similar to the upcoming Creta facelift. The higher-spec version is expected to get a twin-motor setup giving it an all-wheel drive setup. Inside, you will see a familiar cabin as most of the XUV700 components will be used in the cabin but the new XUV.e8 is likely to the game a notch higher than its ICE siblings with an array of three screens including a digital instrument cluster, infotainment system and a new screen for passengers.

7. Tata Harrier EV

This setup draws power from a 77kWh battery pack which helps it offer a claimed range of up to 480 km on a single charge.
