Hyundai drops base Creta N Line trim — Only fully-loaded N10 remains

Hyundai India has discontinued the entry-level N8 variant of the Creta N Line, with the trim now removed from the company's official website. As a result, the sporty SUV is now offered in just one fully loaded variant instead of the earlier two-variant lineup.
This is the second major update to the Creta N Line in recent months. After revising prices earlier, Hyundai has now simplified the range by dropping the more affordable N8 trim, leaving buyers with only the top-spec option.

With the N8 variant removed, the Creta N Line's effective starting price has risen to Rs 19.03 lakh (ex-showroom) for the sole remaining N10 trim. The N10 is offered in both mono-tone and dual-tone exterior colour options.
What the N8 variant offered
Until its discontinuation, the N8 was the more affordable way into the Creta N Line range. It was offered exclusively with a 7-speed automatic transmission, meaning buyers wanting a manual gearbox option in this lineup had to look at the higher N10 trim, which is the only variant offering a 6-speed manual unit.
Both the discontinued N8 and the continuing N10 share the same engine: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit producing 158bhp and 253Nm of torque, a performance-oriented state of tune that separates the N Line from the standard Creta lineup.

The Hyundai Creta N-Line N10 was already the more comprehensively equipped of the two trims, every Creta N Line buyer now automatically gets a substantial features list as standard. This includes front parking sensors, a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, an eight-way powered driver seat, an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM), red ambient interior lighting, dual 10.25-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, a Bose eight-speaker premium sound system, over-the-air (OTA) software update capability, Hyundai's BlueLink connected car technology, and Home To Car (H2C) functionality integrated with Amazon Alexa.
