The Toyota Land Cruiser has never been an affordable SUV, but demand for it has always remained strong. Now, after a May 2026 price revision, it has become even more expensive. Toyota has increased Land Cruiser prices by up to Rs 2.15 lakh, making it one of the bigger mid-year price hikes in the luxury SUV segment this year. With prices already crossing Rs 2 crore, buyers may now wonder whether the Land Cruiser still offers enough value for the money.

The Toyota Land Cruiser is sold in India in two variants: ZX and GR-S. After the latest price revision, the ZX variant is now priced at Rs 2,17,75,000 (ex-showroom), up by Rs 2,15,000. The GR-S variant continues at Rs 2,24,93,300 (ex-showroom), with no change in pricing.
Toyota Land Cruiser engine & suspension
Both variants of the Toyota Land Cruiser use the same 3.3-litre V6 twin-turbo diesel engine producing 304bhp and 700Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a standard AWD system.
The SUV is built on Toyota’s TNGA-F body-on-frame platform and uses double wishbone suspension at the front with a 4-link rigid axle setup at the rear. Toyota offers the Land Cruiser with only this diesel engine. There is no petrol, hybrid, or 7-seat version. Buyers also get only two exterior colour choices: Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black.
