Hyundai has launched the 2026 Hyundai Venue Knight Edition in India, priced from Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). This is not a new generation, but a special-edition version focused on a darker theme design. It is sold alongside the standard Venue and the Venue N Line.

The Knight name is not new to Hyundai. The brand first used it in 2022 and since then the Knight range across models has sold over 92,000 units in India. The Venue itself continues to sell around 10,000 to 11,000 units monthly.

For the 2026 model year update, Venue Knight gets visible exterior updates, a revised cabin theme, and adds a new dashcam feature. Here is a quick breakdown.

2026 Hyundai Venue Knight exterior — what is new and what has changed

Hyundai Venue Knight Edition

The biggest highlight of the Hyundai Venue Knight Edition is its all-black exterior. The grille is finished in black, and the Hyundai logos at the front and rear are now matte black instead of chrome. Roof rails, ORVMs, and skid plates are also blacked out. The 17-inch alloy wheels get a black finish, while red brake callipers add a slight contrast. It also gets Knight badging.

There are no changes to the overall design. It continues with the same quad LED headlamps, silhouette, dimensions, and platform as the standard model launched in November 2025. Hyundai has also introduced two new colours: Hazel Blue Matte and Mystic Sapphire Matte. These matte finishes are available across the Venue range, not just the Knight Edition.

2026 Hyundai Venue Knight interior — Darker inside

Inside the Hyundai Venue Knight Edition, the all-black theme continues. The cabin layout remains the same as the standard model, including the dual 12.3-inch curved display and Terrazzo-textured dashboard, but now gets all-black upholstery.

The main change is the addition of brass-coloured accents, which give it a different look compared to the regular Venue and the N Line. The seat upholstery is also specific to the Knight Edition. Features remain unchanged. It continues with the twin 12.3-inch screens, connected car tech, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the 8-speaker Bose sound system on higher variants.

Hyundai Venue Knight features and safety — What is genuinely new

The most useful addition is the dashcam, now offered on select Hyundai Venue Knight variants like HX6T, HX10, and N10. It supports four modes: regular driving, event-based recording during sudden braking or collisions, parking (vacation) mode, and on-demand recording. Footage can be downloaded to a smartphone via an app.

On safety, the Venue already has a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP for adult and child protection. The Knight Edition remains unchanged in this area. Six airbags are offered on higher variants, and the top HX10 variant gets Level 2 ADAS.

Hyundai Venue Knight engine options

The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition does not get any changes to the engine lineup and continues with the same options as the standard model. It offers a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual producing 83 hp, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT producing 120PS and 172Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic producing 116PS and 250Nm.

Fuel efficiency remains the same, with the turbo-petrol delivering up to 20 kmpl (DCT) and the diesel up to 20.99 kmpl (manual), as per ARAI. All engine and gearbox options are carried over, with the Knight Edition only adding cosmetic and feature changes.

Hyundai Venue Knight prices — How the Knight lineup is structured

The 2026 Venue Knight is available across five variants spanning petrol and diesel powertrains.

VariantPrice (ex-showroom)
HX5 Petrol MT (1.2L NA)Rs 9.69 lakh
HX5 Diesel MT (1.5L)Rs 11.11 lakh
HX6T Petrol MT (1.0L Turbo)Rs 11.03 lakh
HX8 Diesel AT (1.5L)Rs 13.84 lakh
HX10 Turbo Petrol DCT (1.0L)Rs 14.79 lakh

For comparison, the equivalent top-spec standard Venue HX10 Turbo Petrol DCT is priced at Rs 14.64 lakh. So the Knight premium on the top variant is Rs 15,000 over the standard car. That is a small ask for a noticeably different look and the dashcam feature. The Venue N Line N10 Turbo Petrol DCT continues at Rs 15.48 lakh.
