Next-gen Hyundai i20 Brazil launch — Complete visual redesign

The fourth-generation i20 adopts Hyundai's latest global design language. At the front, it features H-shaped LED daytime running lights, a full-width light bar, rectangular LED headlamps, and a redesigned hexagonal grille. The bonnet also gets a cleaner design with fewer character lines. At the rear, connected LED tail lamps span the width of the car, giving it a wider appearance.
The side profile features circular wheel arches, conventional door handles, body cladding, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. A rising window line that flows into the roof adds to the overall design. Measuring 4,130 mm in length and 1,780 mm in width, the new i20 offers a spacious cabin.
2026 Hyundai i20 interior — Dual-screen infotainment system and OTA update capability

Inside, the i20 gets a redesigned cabin with a new dashboard layout and dual 12.3-inch screens. One screen serves as the infotainment system, while the other functions as the digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system also supports built-in 5G connectivity for online services and data access.

The new i20 is the first Hyundai model in Brazil to offer over-the-air (OTA) updates, allowing software and feature updates to be installed remotely without visiting a dealership.
Other highlights include a new steering wheel with Hyundai's quad-dot logo, steering-mounted controls, paddle shifters, a wireless phone charger, an electronic parking brake, and an integrated SOS emergency button.
Connected car features and safety technology integration
The new i20 comes with Hyundai's Bluelink connected car technology, allowing owners to monitor and control certain vehicle functions through a smartphone app. Features include vehicle tracking, remote climate control, and real-time vehicle status updates. USB charging ports are available for both front and rear passengers, while the air-conditioning system retains physical controls for easier operation.

On the safety front, the i20 offers dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a range of ADAS features to assist the driver and improve overall safety.
Boot space and positioning in Hyundai's Brazil lineup
The new i20 offers a 346-litre boot and a 2,580 mm wheelbase, balancing cabin space with compact dimensions suited for city driving and longer journeys. In Hyundai's Brazil lineup, the i20 sits between the HB20 and Creta. The HB20 continues as the entry-level hatchback, while the i20 targets buyers looking for more technology and features. The Creta remains the option for those seeking a compact SUV.

Priced from BRL 99,000, the fourth-generation i20 brings Hyundai's latest design language, connectivity features, and technology to the Brazilian market.
