Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced its sales performance for July 2026, registering a total of 32,516 units for the month. The carmaker recently introduced the ninth-generation Hilux in India, adding a new model to its portfolio. Sales of the updated pickup are expected to contribute to Toyota’s performance in the coming months as the company looks to build on its current sales growth.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded 30,516 domestic sales in July 2026, compared to 29,159 units in July 2025. This represents an increase of 1,357 units, translating to a 5% year-on-year growth.

Toyota calendar year and financial year performance

 

Looking at the broader calendar year picture, Toyota's domestic sales for the first seven months of 2026 (January-July) reached 233,854 units, up 13% from 207,497 units in the same period of 2025.

On a financial year basis, covering the first four months of FY27 (April-July 2026), Toyota's sales stood at 128,746 units, up 8% from 119,669 units in the same period of FY26. The gap between the 13% calendar year growth and the 8% financial year growth suggests that Toyota's sales momentum has been somewhat stronger earlier in the calendar year than in the most recent four-month stretch.
