Tata has also narrowed two pricing gaps that buyers often factor in when choosing a variant: the petrol-diesel difference is now Rs 1.3 lakh, down from Rs 1.5 lakh, and the manual-to-automatic step is also Rs 1.3 lakh, down from Rs 1.5 lakh.

2026 Tata Curvv Series X features
The bigger change with the Series X is where features sit in the lineup. A 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is now available from the Pure X trim, one step above the base variant. Automatic climate control, cruise control, push-button start and auto-folding mirrors are also part of the equipment list across the range.

Inside, the Tata Curvv Series X cabin gets a lighter theme with leatherette upholstery and leatherette trim on the steering wheel, gear-shift knob and centre-console armrest. Tata has also worked on rear-seat comfort: the front seat-back is 10mm slimmer, and the rear seat has moved 20mm back and 10mm lower. Rear passengers get their own AC vents, a rear armrest, and reclining seats.
Other features across the range include a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree 3D surround-view camera with a blind-view monitor, front parking assist, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. On safety, the Curvv Series X gets six airbags, ESP, hill-hold control, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors as standard.
Tata Curvv Series X design
The exterior keeps the same coupe-SUV silhouette as before, with flush door handles, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail-lamps and a rear spoiler. The grille now gets a black finish instead of the earlier chrome treatment. The Dark edition, with its blacked-out exterior and Obsidian-themed cabin, is now offered on more variants than before. Lower trims run on 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, while higher trims move up to 18-inch units.

Tata Curvv Series X engine and gearbox options
Mechanically, nothing has changed. The Curvv Series X continues with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol producing 120hp and 170Nm, a 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol producing 125hp and 225Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel producing 118hp and 260Nm. The turbo-petrol and diesel engines come with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The direct-injection turbo-petrol is limited to the top-spec Accomplished X+ and only comes with the 7-speed automatic.
With this update, Tata has kept the Curvv’s engine and gearbox options unchanged, while adding more tech and comfort features to lower variants.
